I respectfully disagree because my gf is (cough) considered hot (not my words alone, but words from people who know her, and from strangers) but she's never bitchy, and not materialistic as well.

She's just quite controlling and constantly nags (typical perfectionist attitude) but at least she wants to improve together with me, not putting me down and comparing to other guys.
