当时，一家四口韩国人和一名马来男子的黑色休旅车正在前往机场途中，岂料，车子却突然爆胎，迫 使全车人急忙 下车。
马来男子阿莫伦（Amron Ayoub，23岁）事发前是司机，也是其中一名女乘客宋芝素（Song Jisoo）的异国恋男朋友，而另外三名乘客分别是宋芝素的哥哥以及父母。
事发前，阿莫伦驾父亲的车送女友的父母去机场，回韩国，不料却爆胎。
爆胎之后，韩籍夫妇与他们的女儿和马来男子站在车后，而宋芝素的哥哥则站在车旁。
