Stomp contributor SuperWan Qash was horrified to find tiny maggot-like worms in a packet of plain flour purchased from a supermarket.
Wrote the Stomp contributor:
"On Aug 10 this year, I bought a pack of 1kg Redman Plain Flour from Giant Supermarket in Yishun.
"When I sieved the flour, I was shocked by what was left behind in my sieve.
"There were countless fine maggot-like worms!
"And they were still wriggling! Alive and well!
"When I check the flour, I can still find some smaller ones that went through the sieve.
"The expiration date is on December 2013.
"What can we do about this? It can cause food poisoning if not detected."
