The International War Criminal Court handed out its verdict today on the case of genocide committed by Indonesian dictator Bambang Susilo Yudhoyuno who ruled unchallenged since 2004.
Prime Minister Low Thia Khiang of Singapore who filed the case in the year 2016, was solemn as the verdict was read out in court.
When asked what he thought of the verdict, PM Low responded "There is nothing to celebrate. On this day we remember the 3 million Singaporeans who died of poison fumes from Indonesia in the last 8 years."
An estimated 3 million Singaporeans have died from the annual haze from Indonesia which reached 3290 psi at its peak in 2016. Prior to that, the PAP govt of Singapore reiterated annually " There is nothing we can do as the smoke comes from Indonesia". Due to its incompetence which led to millions of death, the PAP party lost the general election in 2016 to the Workers' Party. The Workers' Party Prime Minister lodged its case with the international War Criminal Court on his first day at work.. leading to a long running case which ended today.
Susilo Bambang Yudhoyuno and several Indonesian Ministers received millions of payments from agricultural companies which were the chief culprits of "slash and burn" of forestry in Indonesia, which led to millions of deaths in neighbouring countries and Indonesia.
