Hey just trying my luck coz my family would be going overseas next week from Fri 23 - 25 March Sun & I have no plans.

I was initially thinking of having a small party but decided to just have a small dinner at home.

Nothing too fancy. Dinner at my place. With Candles & shit. Mutual respect. If things go well during dinner, maybe sex could be involved if we're having fun. :)


I don't wanna reveal too much about myself but I am a great cook. Cooking has been one of my passion since young. I'm Male 22 years old, I live a healthy lifestyle, watch what I eat & workout regularly.

just want to comment on the cooking...

your steak is cook unevenly... the top part is cooked more than the bottom part. very simple mistake that even amateur cooks won't even make.
so i would dare say your cooking is nothing to shout about :)

so my advise, if you want to use your cooking as your selling point, better brush up :)
imo none of these dishes are technique worthy enough to impress.. just simple home cooked food only...

Thank you for your critique. I'm not a professional chef either. I just cook it as a hobby. Growing up, I'd always love cooking and helping my mom out.

And yes I was tryna get it med. I find meats really one of the hardest thing to cook.

The tip I learnt from Gordon ramsay was to use your palm and keep touching your meet to guage if its med, well done or rare but I always have problems telling if its perfect or not. Guess that meat was still good enough for me. :)

Do you know of any places I can take cooking lessons & possibly meet like minded people too? Not too fancy like a Sunshine or Shatec though.

personally i prefer med rare beef, best is to see blood when cutting... but i'm a guy lah. dont think the ladies like seeing blood since they meet every month.

my suggestion is to concentrate on the seafood or chicken when you wanna cook for them.

saw from tv that there are places where you can learn to cook during lunch hours. never took down the name though. not sure if PA/CC have such classes... anyway just keep experimenting and you can get it right one day.
