Chain hotels with computerised systems scans the FLs details, this I experienced from fragrance hotel when I went.

Those non chain hotels will just write down some details on the registery forms and file it away. Currently no idea how to get around the 2 IC rule, I think the hotel and FL business must be quite affected.

Actually even I was a regular in a particular hotel, they also want to check 2 ICs each time. Think it's the current trend and procedure bah.

Had 2 sessions at 2 different hotel yesterday. 1 was at outside GL. Receptionist told me need to have me and my partner register together, I told some story and then he just took down my details and gave me a room where I waited for her. When the FL came, they asked for her ID and just looked thro with no recording done according to what she told me.

Another hotel in GL also the same, just look at the ID to see see and no details taken, even tho the girl was with me when registering. I think they mainly check to see if overstayer or not.

But I feel the 2 ID rule is affecting the scene a bit, notice that not as much FLs on offer now as before implementation of the rule.

Sighs..... :(

Frangrance below Mt Faber needs only 1 ic, because not in the targeted zones. Do call to confirm, in case change policy. Last visited in Nov 10.

There are still transit hotels (smaller ones) in GL that do not require 2 ICs as yet. However, these are more run down than Fragrance of Hotel 81. Price is also cheaper. There are also other transit hotels outside GL that still do not require 2 ICs but these are very few already. :D

Checking the ID is ok, it's the recording of it that is worrying. A friend of mine told me that Fragrance scans the details of the girl into their computer systems. I think this may affect the girls if they try to extend their Visa or whatever.

Hope the hotels can make an appeal or something to whichever gov body is concerned and relax on this rule cause I think this must be affecting their business. There are so many budget hotels in singapore, with the 2 IC rule, I think they will be quite affected.
