You can also buy a $2,000 entry levy that gives you unlimited entry to Singapore’s first casino at Resorts World Sentosa for a year.

2. Must I buy the levy on the day I visit?
The day levy is valid for 30 days, while the annual levy will be autoactivated upon first entry to casino or 90 days from date of purchase. You do not need a physical levy ticket to enter the casino. You just need your IC or Singapore-issued driver’s licence. Your purchase will be recorded electronically.

3. Where can I buy the entry levy ticket?
You can buy your levy ticket online at Resorts World Sentosa | Singapore Hotel & Casino Resort | Integrated Resort (http://www.rwsentosa.com) or at counters outside the RWS casino. Please bring your IC or Singapore-issued driver’s licence for counter staff to verify. For on-line payment, you will need the names and IC numbers for persons you are paying levy for. (self-service counters eg ATM/AXN will come on stream later)

4. Do you take Nets or Credit Card?
Cash, Nets and credit card payments are accepted at the manned levy counters outside the casino. On Resorts World Sentosa | Singapore Hotel & Casino Resort | Integrated Resort (http://www.rwsentosa.com), we accept major credit cards.

5. What do I do after I have paid for a levy?
Customers will get a receipt at our counters or an email confirmation from online booking. You can keep them for record but when you enter the casino, you’ll only need either your IC or Singapore-issued driver’s licence. Tap either of these at the turnstiles under lanes marked Singaporean/PR at the casino entrance.

6. Can I go to two casinos with one levy ticket?

Under the Law, the entry cannot be refunded or reimbursed in any way by the casino.

8. Can I buy a levy and split my 24 hours with a friend?
Each entry levy ticket admits one and is not transferable. An identity card or Singapore-issued driver’s licence has to be produced at the entry turnstile to verify that the holder of the entry levy ticket is the only person entering the casino. We do not require levy ticket for admission, it is an offence to enter the casino without levy or using another person NRIC to enter the casino.

9. How do you prevent underaged Singaporeans from buying a levy ticket?
Your IC or a Singapore-issued drivers’ licence is required when you buy an entry levy from our manned counters. Online and at the self-service kiosks, patrons below 22 years old will be rejected. Patrons aged above 21 but below 22 should buy their levies at the counters outside the casino.

The Law does not allow you to do so. If you’d like to consider an annual levy for unlimited access to our casino, please approach our levy counters. if you’d like to know more, let us refer you to our membership services at tel: 65778000 or [email protected].

15. Do I get any gifts for buying the levy?
The Law does not let the casino operator reimburse the levy.

The money is collected by the Singapore Totalisator Board ie the Government, and is used for public and charity causes. The Casino does not keep any part of the levy money.

17. Do employees get discounts off the levy?
Employees of the company are not allowed to gamble in the casino. They also do not get discounts as the levy is charged by the Government.

18. Which other countries have similar levies?
We are not aware of any other country with a similar policy.

19. What would you do if I walk in to the casino without buying a levy?
It is an offence to enter the casino without a valid entry levy ticket. The penalty of doing so is a S$1,000 fine.

20. Do you support this levy policy?
The entry levy is a policy enacted by the Singapore Government to signal that gambling is an expense, it is not a way to make a living, and to deter impulse gambling. Resorts World supports measures to promote responsible gambling.

21. I am a foreigner. What do I do?
Foreign patrons need not purchase levies to enter the casino. Simply use the designated foreigner entry and exit lanes. However, it is mandatory for foreign patrons to show their passports in order to gain entry into the casino.

way to go Sillypore garment...after searching so hard for scholars and talents to govern and rule Sillypore, these is what the new generations garment can do...:(
meet any problem, the best and only way they can come out with a solution is to ask and force the poor citizen to pay..pay ...pay...

set up more ERPs to stop traffic jams..look at how many new gantries they had put up this year

set up casino levy to stop citizens to go casino...worst is to charge for both side...they just dun give a damn to how we think anymore...if they want to collect a total of 200/day or 4000/year for both casinos, they should collect it as 200 or 4000 instead of collecting 100 and 2000...at least we feel the pain once instead of twice. Thus can conclude that those planning the casino levy dun give a damn to our feelings. you pain once or twice is none of their business. way to go in handling this issue.

get more money for the garment, increase GST..
in many other countries, GST are mend for the luxury items...

in Singapore,
government make a killing when you are sick...many cancer or more serious illness patients medical fees are in the hundreds of thousands per year...at 7% gst, those patients had to pay $7000 to the garment per 100k of medical fees...garment thinks that you are enjoying at the surgery table:mad:

and even when you die, you need to pay gst to get a death cert.

you even pay tax for basic items.

in states, gst is only pay to luxury items, like buying a car, a boat, or going to the restaurant for food. If you buy bread or rice from a supermarket, you need not pay for tax.

if this is the way to solve problems, I would suggest that we do not need scholars or talents to govern sillypore anymore as we just use the "invincible problem buster"...next time you wont be surprise that they set up gantry at the lifts of your block. want to take lift, swipe your ez link card.

yes we had been enjoying good governorship in the past...but sad to say,...be prepared...it ain't like this anymore.

It had been a no brainer for me when it comes to election for many years but I think I am going to really put in alot of thought to who I want to vote in this coming election.

the annual pass is valid for 1 year but you cant go to the other casino.

the 90 days are if you buy the casino annual pass, and if within 90 days, you did not activate it, then your pass will be expired..thus you lose 2000.
if you buy the pass on 1st april 2010 and then went in the casino within 90 days, then you had activated the pass and the started date of your pass is the day you first entered the casino.
for example: you just entered at 26th april 2010 at 10.25pm
then you pass will be from 26th april 2010 at 10.25pm
till 25th april 2011 10.24pm

some bros may think this is out of topic but i do think gambling n sex do complement ea other. got to know a couple of dragon ladies who frequent d casino here or some who havent been but eager to visit. maybe the casino in spore will be an additional topic for bros when they talk to their foreign gal.

im sure some bros may even try to 'score pts' by bringing d ladies to d casino but of cos d stupid $100 hurt d pockets! :D

btw any1 bought d annual pass? it's worth it if u intend to visit like a few times per month. maybe ideal for those bros who have many PRC gfs, n not knowing whr to bring them on their off days. :D

I read it differently ... (re-formatted for ease of reading)

Usage: Will expire after 12 consecutive months,
i) from the time of the first entry into the casino or
ii) 90 days from the date of purchase,
whichever of (i) or (ii) is earlier.

Meaning Validity is still 1 year from time of activation, regardless of activation method.

Activation is from (i) time of first entry or (ii) 90 days from date of purchase if no entry is made.

So by your example, if you had bought an annual pass on 1st April 2010 and never step foot into the casino, the annual pass will auto-activate in 90 days (30 June 2010) and will expire in 1 year (23:59 29 June 2011)
