Hi guys,

I wonder if any of you can tell me which are the States in Malaysia that enforce the Khalwat (close proximity) law?

The reason i am asking is that i am planning to make a trip up and i intend to bring my girlfriend who is a Filipina along. I just want to avoid being in a situation with those "religious police" and having to explain why a Singaporean man and a Filipina are together in the same room.

I think this information will also be helpful to many others who may want to visit our "friendly" neighbour.

Thanks in advance.

This rules applies to the whole Malaysia.
As long as no Muslim partner is involved is ok.
If Muslim gal was caught with non-Muslim guy,
both need to appear to Syariah Court for close proximity.
But sentencing affected Muslim nia.
Recently two Muslim ladies was given a "caning" for having sex.
Reason is their partner is not their husbands.
But the guy who had sex with the gals were not mentioned.
So...take the risk if you wanna hunt for Muslim gal.
But Money can solve this issues at the spot!
Malaysia is boleh....I guess...:p
