Secondly, there are no cheap hotels nearby. The closest is back to Singapore opposite Harbourfront. Which Fl would want to pay $100 to enter the casino and poach for business and assuming they charge $100 for their "businesss". They loose $100 in entrance fess and make $100 "per shot and have to pay $100 to enter again? In business sense, its not profitable!!

The $100 entrance fee is only applicable to Singaporean and PRs, not foreigner. And if the hotel charge is borned by the customer, why not?

Erm, PRC FL (as mentioned in TS' question) are considered foreigners so there is no need to pay the entrance levy meant only for S'poreans & PRs... Free entry right?

So start up cost is only transportation (~$5 if they take MRT & RW8). Negligible. If they approach another foreigner, they might already have a room in Sentosa so I guess it is still cost effective for them to operate.

If a client has already won some money, getting a room in Sentosa or ttransport cost out of RWS is also negligible cost...

Not really though... the casino operators wun chase u off becoz of this.

This method got one major flaw => a series of consecutive losses would wipe u clean.

The best tables to play on are either pontoon or blackjack if you know how to count cards. Counting cards evens out the house advantage but it is very tiring. I personally can only tahan max 2 to 3 hours.

If you got a team helping u like in the movie '21' that would really give u the advantage to win big but this would get you an interview with the security manager if discovered.

the casino already find its way to break the system...last time u can count cards becoz they use 8 decks...so u can see how much is the balance..but now is different...they will keep on returning back the "opened" cards into the 126 card shuffler...n that shuffler will mix all the cards in it regardsless if it is in the position to come out or not

to make it simple..it means any cards can come out anytime..no more cards lining up to come out in order like bacarrat...so card counting no longer has use....

only one thing got use for card counting..in bacarrat where there is insurance play involved....u can count cards n see if u want to buy insurance base on the cards left...

U have to have 8-9 kakis, counting and betting ones to own 1 table...

Firstly, is cost $100 in entrance fess and the security is so tight. every move you make or corner you turn, you are being watched.

Secondly, there are no cheap hotels nearby. The closest is back to Singapore opposite Harbourfront. Which Fl would want to pay $100 to enter the casino and poach for business and assuming they charge $100 for their "businesss". They loose $100 in entrance fess and make $100 "per shot and have to pay $100 to enter again? In business sense, its not profitable!!

Havent been to Resorts World Sentosa casino yet but some of my relatives been there won some $ after minusing off the $100 levy. They can win more if not too greedy but at most $1k + they won. After hearing their 1st trip to the Sentosa casino, i have not so much interest liao as there are lots of prcs & bangalas there so a bit turn off for mi. Still prefer the cool Genting area. Macau Venetian i have been to & cruise casino too but Genting casino i still frequent more often. Though winning riggits, i still like it there haha. ;)

just try this.. before you use real cash to play with casino.

try toss a coin every morning. head-or-tail, can you guess it correctly every morning ?? it is 50% chance.. I'm sure you cannot guess it correctly every day.

As for casino... remember there is tax of about 2-3% on every hand you bet. This is a slight edge to the casino.

Most FL (if any) would be foriegners , they dont have to pay levy. They can go in and out anytime they want , as many times they want. For us , $100 levy is for 24 hours , you can go into the casino , come out and go home take a nap and go back into the casino again for free so long its within the 24 hours time frame starting from the time you first entered the casino.

My favourite casino game is roulette initially I won playing the RED/BLACK outside bet around 50/50.
To think the dealers also have 52.4% chances of winning against players like us.

Tai Sai more worse ... I would think the dealers' winning chances is about 60% for every BIG or SMALL bet make by the players.

To play part-time say twice a week .. to win $500 on 2 visits per week is possible provided we have very good luck :D

Chance upon this thread while surfing SBF. Great discussion here on the many strategies regarding playing of Roullete.

I have been playing it for many years, not everytime your same strategy work. Over the years I have formed a few of them, the latest one being placing $50 on 4 different sets of straight eg No. 10 - 15, 16 - 21, 22 - 27 and 28 - 33.

Let say the ball landed in one of the nos, you are paid 5 X $50 = $250. Plus the capital $50, total is $300. So you make $100 per round. Off course you have to scan the pattern of numbers opened before you make you kill :D

The other one is place by sectors ... having divide the roullette table into 4 sectors:- 0 or top sector have 7 nos eg 0 3 15 19 26 32 35, right sector 2 4 6 13 17 21 25 27 34 36, left sector 7 12 14 18 20 22 28 29 31 and bottom sector 1 5 8 10 11 16 23 24 30 33

Not sure any bros here share the same strategies :D

On last Friday afternoon... I saw a group disputing on the Pontoon table in Orchid room. He got 15 & signalled to draw the dealer gave him a 9 BUSTED.

He & others strongly disputed that he did not signal to draw another card but to stand on 15 even asked to view the camera replay. The Supervisor cannot make a decision to burn the card 9 so called on the Manager asked the rest of players whether agree to burn card 9. All agreed. But in the end the dealer won & that man who disputed lost around $1,000 worth of chips.

If that man happen to draw a 6 instead of 9 :confused: 6 + 15 = 21... will he dispute :rolleyes:

China cook was really lucky, I read from Lianhe Wanbao that he won $440K with a spade royal flush :p in Caribbean Stud Poker.

But I think that 4 Caribbean Stud Poker (min $25) inside Orchid room was situated in an unlucky position :cool: unlike players walk away with winning :confused:

Gambling at Casinos is all about luck.

My personal experience tells me that luck (in Casino) comes in waves, and short bursts at times. If you are on a lucky streak, any number you bet on roulette will come out. My longest lucky streak was 3 consecutive direct hit on single number bet at roulette, probability of that happening is darn low; definitely contribute that to the luck factor.

Also, when playing at Table games, in addition to the upper hand Casino Feng Shui factor, House Odds advantage, you will be pitting your current level of luck and "chi" against the dealer/croupier.

So, as you can see,in order to win, your level of luck at that point in time must be a lot higher than the Feng Shui/House Odds/Dealer's Luck combined at that particular point in time. This kind of "peak" in your luck does not come often, and just like waves in the ocean, better ride hard on the crest of the waves while the opportunity presents itself.
