Bro SexMan, staying in Harris WF is a good way to avoid bad experience repeating itself. But you have to be prepared to spend extra money on F&B. As for ceweks, there are some pubs near the ferry terminal, but with very few FLs around, + those pubs only open in late afternoon.
My advise = you’ll still have to get down to Nagoya town to do your pick up for ceweks.
Safe way to do it = Talk to the hotel taxi driver, tell him you’ll want to pick up/book your cewek, now he knows that he’ll be able to make his com on your cewek, settled with him for a package price like Rp.50k max. Get him to bring you to your regular joints if you have any, otherwise let him bring you around so he’s something like your guide/runner. You can even ask him to help buy/get the condoms, can drinks, ciggies ect ect, this way you can stay inside the taxi since you feel that Nagoya town is not too safe a place for you.

BVR - previously has a fabulous package at S$100 (Sun - Thu) which includes:
- return ferry to Nongsa (via Tanah Merah Terminal)
- 1 nite stay (Std room)
- S$20 F & B voucher
- discount on non-motor sea sportsrecreations

BVR is more meant for family tour during wkends (similar to H R). Not so preferred by cheongsters but still tolerate visitors (ie WL) if accompanied by hotel guest. The front beach is spectular.

Cab fare package is about the same as H R though the travelling distance would be abt 30-40 mins

there are many pubs in Batam which provides good drinking setting. One of them is Wallabies - a shop house unit at ground levet just across Hotel Puri Garden. Besides acoholic beverages, it serves good pizzas and many other aisan /int'l food.

Another option is Coin Club, very near to Batam Centre. Its crowded on weekends (nite) cos it has live stage performance. Last heard it has closed down ... not very sure about this.
