i had sunburn on 3 May and my skin is peeling off on 7-9 May and now or less stop peeling now, is there any risk from the various STDs?

search online for a few days but none talks about sunburn skin.

Thanks.

Whether damaged or undamaged skin, certain STDs transmitted by skin to skin contact will still be a risk. Herpes, Syphilis, etc.

part of my arms and chest and shoulder got sunburn and started peeling. my question is whether such skin increase the risk of STD infection, for Herpes and Syphilis I can understand, but how about HIV? i've not choing while having this sunburn just asking as a precaution, so i dun think a doctor is needed.

Do you think you could have gotten blood or vaginal fluids on an open wound/broken skin?

I don't think so. Unless your sunburn skin starts to tear exposing blood vessels.

i think it also depends on whether your sun-burnt skin had been in contact with the bodily fluids of an infected individual.

if all you had was skin to skin contact, i doubt if any STDs can be transmitted this way since sweat is not usu not considered to have a medium for STD viruses, only other bodily fluids like semen or vaginal fluids.
